In den 17 Jahren seit ihrer Gründung hat die Band um Frontmann Stuart Murdoch neun reguläre Studioalbum aufgenommen, außerdem viele EPs und Compilations veröffentlicht. Scheinbar hatten sie zwischendurch trotzdem noch genug Kreativität übrig, um jetzt eine ganze B-Seiten-Sammlung zu füllen.
“The Third Eye Centre” umfasst 19 davon, alle zwischen dem 2003er Album “Dear Catastrophe Waitress” und “Belle And Sebastian Write About Love” von 2010 aufgenommen. Matador veröffentlicht die Compilation am 23. August, heute könnt ihr bereits in den Miaoux Miaoux-Remix von “Your Cover’s Blown” reinhören.
